The Resurrection of those to whom the Prophet’s Teachings did not Reach (An Analytical Study in the light of Islamic Thought)

Abstract

Prophets come to preach about the teaching of Allah. Their prior endorsement is about the oneness of God (Tauheed). A messenger of God who comes with a book is called Rasol. Prophets preach to every class of society whether it is upper class or lower class of society. But it is possible that some of the people did not hear or know about his coming 
or teachings. Those people are called the people of Fatrah (The period between the two prophets) Some of the Quranic Scholars say that the period between two prophetsis called the period of Fatrah. There are three main schools of thought about the people of Fatrah (those who did not know about the teachings of prophets). Ashari says that they will be 
forgiven because they did not know the prophets teaching . Maturidi and Mutazila says that human intellect has the capability to reach and know the oneness of God. In this article an critical and analytical studies will be done of these schools of thoughthave been given according to the Quran and Sunnah.
