Abstract

This research paper explores the views of the scholars and institutes related to the problems of prayer in the context of epidemic situation. The epidemic situation largely affects the normal routines of human life as 
well as religious practices. To answer the effects of pandemic on Islamic religious practices like offering Salah, Pilgrimage and religious gatherings, the scholars suggested some modifications and adaptations in sharia rules.Like wearing mask during Salah, closing Masajid, offering jamaat, obtaining specific distance between prayee, offering Juma sermons at home, online Jamaat Option. The views of scholars and selected institutions has been collected and analyzed to know the legal position of these new emerging problems and issues. This research concludes that in the pandemic and some other emergency situations the relaxations can be given like offering prayer without maintaining jamaat, the people can only perform the obligatory part in the mosque ad rest of the religious practices can be performed at home.
