Abstract

Khawaja Ahmed ul Din Amritsari belongs to India. He was one of Pioneer of exclusive scholl of thought in the field of Tafseer. He has been writing
magazines/article in different languages. He has considered himself among the scholars of Ahl as-Sunnah, but after looking of his beliefs and ideas, it is clear that he belongs to the school of thought whose point of view is that the only source of interpretation is the Qur'an. According to Amritsari, the second main source of interpretation is intellect rather than hadith. That is why he has presented the interpretation of many verses which is completely opposite to the popular Islamic scholars. Based on reason, he counted the number of prayers as two instead of five.
While we get more details about the prayer from the blessed hadiths, according to Amritsari, since the hadith is not a source of interpretation, he has a different view on the prayer. Has presented similarly, his point of view is different in kalamidiscussions. Therefore, in the matters of revelation, intercession, miracles, heaven and hell, etc., he has prioritized reason and therefore presented a different point of view. In this paper, all ideas in theological discussions about revelation, intercession, miracles, heaven and hell etc. will be explained in detail in the light of the sayings of
scholars with arguments. Therefore, research and critical methodology will be adopted in this paper.
