This article delves into two significant collections of Islamic hadiths: Meškāt almaṣābīḥ and Lamaat al-Tanqih.The focus opens with Meškāt al-maṣābīḥ, compiled by Khatib Al-Tabrizi, which expands upon the earlier collection of Masabih al-Sunnah by Imam Al-Baghawi. Notably, Meškāt al-maṣābīḥ draws from renowned sources like the six Sahih (Sahih al-Sittah) collections, encompassing a total of 5945 hadiths. Next, the article introduces Lamaat al-Tanqih, authored by the prominent scholar Shaykh ʿabd-Al-Ḥaqq Dehlavī.
