A Study of Some Hadiths Declared Invalid due to Cross-Examination of Narrators in Imam Darqutni Book "Al-Gharaib wal Afrad".

Abstract

The science of Ilal is one of the deepest and most accurate sciences of hadith. Many scholars wrote about it due to its importance. Among these muhadithin is Imam al-Daraqutni. He wrote many books about various types of Sunnah, including Ilal, The Narrators etc. Among them was his huge book, full of all types of Afraad and Garaib, called: “Al- Garaib wal Afraad” in which the Imam 
presented a huge number of hadiths. Hence, this book is an important reference on Ilal of Hadiths. In this brief article, I address some of the hadiths criticized due to narrators through this important book. At the beginning of the research, I mention a brief translation of the Imam. Then I mentioned the meaning of criticism of Narrator, after that I wrote examples from his book “AlGaraib wal Afraad”.
