Consideration of Jurisprudential Rules and Principles in the inference from Hadith according to Imam Wali Allah Dehlavi(An analytical study through his book Al- Musaffa)

Abstract

Quran and Hadith are the main sources of Islam. Who guides humanity in every sphere of life. In view of the importance of the Ahadith, the Islamic scholars made full arrangements for their protection and publication. And deduced religious issues and rulings from hadiths. In deriving religious issues from Ahadith, the Islamic Jurists took many things into consideration. These include Arabic grammar, Urf, jurisprudential rules and principles, etc.Imam Dehlavi spent his life in the service of hadiths. He taught Hadith for more than thirty years and wrote many books about it. His favorite book is Muwatta Imam Malik, that’s why he wrote two books in explanation of it. One is AlMusawwa which is in Arabic, while second is Al- Musaffa. Al-Musaffa is in Persian, because it was the official language of that time.Imam Dehlavi explained Ahadith with detail in this book. He translated Ahadith into Persion and wrote the related issues in detail. In the interpretation Imam Dehlavi considered several things in which Fiqhi Rules and Principles have special importance. This article examines Imam Dehlavi’s commentary on this aspect.
