Abstract

This article examines the perspectives of two prominent Islamic scholars, 
Tanvi and Ibn Ashur, on the relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims. Through a detailed presentation and analysis in their Tafseer. The study 
explores how each scholar addresses Quranic injunctions regarding 
interactions with non-Muslim within their respective historical and cultural 
contexts. The study reveals their perspectives on tolerance, mutual respect, and ethical engagement. The article examines how their interpretations contribute to understanding the Islamic stance on peaceful coexistence and social harmony with non-Muslims. By highlighting their contributions, the study provides insights into how traditional Islamic thought can offer a framework for constructive interfaith relationships.
