The Islamic Concept of Honor Killing an Exploratory and Analytical Study.

Abstract

Allah has put the substance of honor and modesty in every human being to some degree. Then every human being shows his inner honor according to different places and conditions, But after Allah, Holy Qur’an, and the person of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), the thing that a Muslim shows honor to the most is the actions that cause any kind of stain and infamy in the relationship between husband and wife and in family chastity. in 
the same way a Muslim cherishes his chastity. In which he is absolutely unwilling to bear any kind of stigma. Some men, in a state of madness, kill their close relatives such as sisters, daughters, sisters-in-law and wives on the suspicion of marrying their choice,having wrongful relations with someone, and killing them. Honor killing is not only a part of Pakistani society but every year thousands of women are killed by their close relatives in about 31 countries of the world in the name of honor and protection of the family.Because these people believe that their identity and honor is linked to their family name and fame. For this reason, whenever family disgrace is feared, only close relatives become 
murderers. Because in the opinion of these people, killing is the only solution to remove this infamy. For this reason, killing in the name of honor in the present age has become an indelible stain on the bright face of Islam. For this, it is necessary to make such laws and regulations through which such a terrible crime can be dealt with. This paper highlights the Islamic concept of honor killing
