Abstract

This article explores the concept of peaceful coexistence between the intellectual traditions of Al-Tahanawi and Ibn Ashour. It examines how these two scholars, though differing in their approaches and methodologies, managed to contribute to the broader Islamic intellectual tradition without conflict. the article illustrateshow these two scholars navigated and harmonized differing interpretations to promote a culture of peaceful scholarly coexistence. This exploration underscores their contributions to fostering a respectful and collaborative environment in Islamic thought, demonstrating that intellectual diversity can be a source of enrichment rather than conflict.
