This research article delves into the concept of Ujrah within Islamic jurisprudence, focusing on its conditions, the emergence of disputes, and the corresponding responsibilities of individuals and governments. Ujrah refers to compensation or wages paid for services rendered, and its understanding is rooted in Quran, Sunnah and classical texts of Fuqaha. By exploring the principles outlined in Islamic jurisprudence, particularly the concept and conditions of Ujrah, the study investigates the underlying
reasons behind conflicts over salaries, wages, and other employment benefits. It examines the text of four famous schools of Islamic Jurisprudence regarding fair compensation practices and the conditions under which Ujrah can be considered permissible or impermissible according to Islamic laws. Moreover, this study incorporates Prophetic Ahadith to provide insights into the ethical considerations surrounding compensation. Furthermore, the research evaluates the extent of
government responsibility in addressing wage-related issues within the framework of Islamic legal principles. Through a comparative analysis of classical Islamic texts and contemporary socio-economic realities, this study aims to offer insights that can inform both theoretical discourse and practical policy-making in the field of labor relations within Islamic societies
